Mr. Colton Clark is an instructional designer, published researcher, and Ed.D. student at National University’s Sanford College of Education in San Diego, California. Having grown up between an analog childhood and a digital adulthood, he likes to combine compassionate instruction with interactive media to craft human-centered, engaging learning environments. Colton's instructional design practices are guided by the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG v2.1). Colton sees digital accessibility and inclusivity as essential for reducing cognitive load and supporting diverse learner groups (CAST, 2024; W3C, 2025).
